Release Text:
Nik (4T Thieves) really does not need much presentation as anyone familiar with the scene in the last two decades should know the name and the unique blend of warm analog sound beautiful electronic music he has been putting out and developing since the early demoscene days, as well as with Kahvi Collective, the ‘cult’ status netlabel that he manages.

Nik also has a long and rich history with Mahorka. Back in 2015 we had his Mahorka debut releases – “Mahorka netlabel day mashup” and “Glass EP”. Since then we’ve had few EPs, numerous remixes, compilation appearances and 4 full-length albums by 4T Thieves, two of which on digipak CDs – the already classic “Hauntology” from 2019 and 2023’s “The Shipping Forecast”.

In late 2024, after around a year in the works, we are really happy to release his new album “I Can Dream Of Bubbles” complemented with the whole “The happy places” album of remixes from dear artists and friends, with those two together making our first double Digipak CD release and a spectacular follow-up to “The Shipping Forecast”.

“In the grey and lifeless world of the future, everything is colourless but you can always dream of bubbles… different colourful scenes, landscapes away from the grey. Inspired by colourful vivid dreams of what the world could have been the happy places are the bubbles that people dream, the different worlds that could have been.”
