🎶 The original demo for this song was made in 2011 for an electro house project that got scrapped. This was before Captive Portal was even a thing and when planking was still a trend.
💻 The project sat on my hard drive until I decided to revisit it in early 2023 when I was working on Vol. 2 of my Toy Sounds series. 🎹 I took the chord progression and one of the melodies from the original demo and made it into a “progressive house” like track with Elizabeth Bridier singing on it.
💿 When the Toy Sounds EP was released, the song still felt unfinished. When Enough Records proposed a remix album for Own The Night, it felt like the perfect opportunity to remake the song and remove the limitations I previously gave myself.
